Engineered wood trusses · Midwest United States
Papaya Truss Company is a regional truss manufacturer serving small and medium-sized residential, agricultural, and light commercial projects. We design, cut, and assemble every component in-house, so you get one accountable partner from drawing to jobsite.
We keep design, cutting, assembly, and delivery under one roof. That means shorter lead times, fewer hand-offs, and a single point of contact who knows your job.
Common, scissor, attic, mono, hip, and girder trusses engineered for your spans, loads, and local code requirements.
Open-web floor systems that span farther, run mechanicals cleanly through the web, and arrive flat and true.
Our designers take your plans and return sealed truss layouts, placement diagrams, and individual truss drawings.
Linear and component saws cut directly from the design file, so every member matches the drawing the first time.
Two Eide assembly tables with laser-projected jig setup put plates and lumber exactly where the design says they belong.
We schedule delivery around your framing crew and stage trusses on site in the order they go up.
Our production line links design software directly to the saws and tables, cutting out re-entry errors and keeping every truss to print.

Send us your plans. Our designer produces the truss layout and engineered drawings for approval.
Lumber and plates are pulled to the cut list, so the right material is staged before the saw starts.
Automated saws cut each member from the design file. Custom pieces go to the manual station.
Crews build each truss on laser-jigged tables and check it against the drawing before it leaves the table.
Trusses are banded, loaded in framing order, and delivered to your site on the agreed date.
Papaya Truss Company started with a simple idea: builders in small towns deserve the same precision and turnaround as the big metro markets.
Our founder, Joe Papaya, spent years framing houses and watching schedules slip while crews waited on trusses from hours away. So he set up shop just outside a town of about 20,000 people and built a facility that puts design, automated cutting, and assembly all in one place.
Today we serve builders, contractors, and property owners across the region on projects of every size. Joe still walks the floor every morning, and if you call the shop, there is a good chance he picks up.
A small, experienced crew where everyone knows the job from the drawing to the drop.
Attach architectural drawings or a simple sketch with dimensions, and tell us your target delivery date. Most quotes go out within two business days.
